Hillary Clinton plans to drop out of the Democratic presidential race Friday, a senior Clinton adviser told FOX News, after Barack Obama clinched the nomination Tuesday.

Clinton told about 20 House Democratic supporters on a conference call Wednesday afternoon that it was “time to bring the party together.” She acknowledged there were “two wings in the party right now,” and it was her obligation to “unite them.”

The Clinton adviser told FOX News that Clinton informed her campaign staff Wednesday that Friday is their last day of work.



I was hoping she'd fight this a little longer, I mean she still has the popular vote, it's not like she doesn't have a case. If she actually believes in this "unite the party" crap we're in trouble.
