I'm kinda stoked.  This guy is one of the funniest comedians around, and I've got tickets to his show in Atlanta tonight.  Woot!

Funny as crap but as stated above his routine is usually weathered if you have watched his stand ups on comedy central.

Have a great time.  I looked up the price of tickets to the show here in Grensborogh NC in June and it was $320!  OH Snap!  I almost crapped myself, dam that is alot of money for a comedy show.

Holy crap.  If the tickets were $320, I would be seeing Star Trek reruns in my living room instead.  The tickets were about $45 each, IIRC.  Still a chunk of change for two, but it should be a fun evening.  I just hope he has some new material.  I've seen both his recent DVDs.  I've been a fan ever since I saw him on TV in about 1990.

"Hey Peanut, did you lose a shoe?"
"Nah, man.  I found one."

Well, my throat is sore from laughing now.  His show was almost completely new material, and it was great!!  He's working on an upcoming Christmas-themed act for DVD, so he had a lot of Christmas references in the act.  He also made fun of the fact that he was doing it in June.

"Hey Walter, are you glad to be in Atlanta?"
"I might be if it wasn't hot as h....cold as hell out there!"

Achmed was wearing a Santa hat instead of a turban to try to "blend in" as a sleeper agent.

Oh, boy did he!

He came out and did several minutes of solo stand-up, then he brought out Walter.  He got about one minute into Walter's routine, and then he just stopped and said, "I don't remeber how the first part starts!"  One of his assistants had to bring out his laptop for him to review his notes.  But he kept us rolling the whole time with ad libbed stuff -- mainly Walter berating him for being a dumbass.

Then after about four minutes of scrambling, he finally got back to the routine:

"So Walter, I had a question for you, and now I remember what it was."

"I've been waiting a long time for this, so it better be good."

(with excess enthusiasm) "Say Walter, what'd you do today?"

[Walter just stares at Jeff for a couple of beats]
"It took you five minutes just to remember that?!?!"

We were laughing so hard we were hurting.  But the rest of the show went off without a hitch.  He did have some trouble with Achmed, but he's done that before, so I think it's part of the act now.

There was one drunk heckler in a private balcony booth, but Jeff handled him very well.  When he tried to heckle him a second time, he was discreetly escorted out.

Walter to the heckler:  "Excuse me, sir.  I understand you're excited to see the show, but would you kindly shut the fuck up?!"

LOL looked at his tour dates, most of his shows are sold out, he added some second shows at the same venue and those sold out too. My wife doesn't care for him but I love his routine, gonna have to go see him if he ever does a show in FL.
