I knew Obama was going to win the nomination, after I saw him speak back in February.
Just prepare for Obama as President. The constant headlines of how he is a "History Maker" and this is his "Destiny" covering all of this mornings news. The media has already been treating him with kit gloves, and even though Hillary hasn't conceded yet they are ready to declare him king. His followers posses a fervor that McCain's do not. |
Won't happen.
Hillary supporters will vote for McCain before letting Obama in office. |
Unless she backs him, or runs 3rd Party. Her not concedeing anything yet is suspicious. Just like Republicans have been reluctantly rallied to McCain, so will those few Dems that are not already to Obama. |
Nope. Hillary is angling for something, when she gets what she wants she will throw her support behind Obama and all of her followers will follow suit. |
I much as I would like to see that happen I find myself not having enough faith in my fellow American's to beleive it will happen. |

There's a shitload of democrats that won't even vote for Obama when the time comes. FWIW, my mom has long leaned toward democrat presidential candidates (thankfully the rest of the family is solidly republican). But she detests Barack Obama and everything he stands for and will not vote for him under any circumstances. The Rev Wright thing totally turned her off to him. And the more recent thing sealed the deal if there was any doubt left in her mind. Mom isn't racist. But she now has solid evidence in her mind that Obama is racist, as well as anti-American. The guy did attend a racist, anti-American church for 20 years. She reckons that a person's character can be judged by the crowd they run with. In Obama's case, he has long been associated with dog shit.
There's millions of white democrats out there just like my mom who will either vote for McCain or simply choose to stay home come November. Blue collar democrats aren't going to vote for a racist, anti-American douchebag like Obama. If he can't win the blue collar vote, he can't win the election. It is that simple. Some of you folks on here are giving up FAR TOO EASILY. Obama is more vulnerable than John Kerry was in 2004. Just wait till the RNC digs up all the shit they're gonna find on Obama. They have simply been waiting. Now that Obama has wrapped up the nomination, watch the shit start to fly. And soon. With the scum Obama has always run with, there has to be lots of dirt on him. Barack Obama stands about as much chance of becoming the POTUS as Dukakis did. Slim to none. Also, FWIW, remember that Dukakis was at one point in that election an overwhelming favorite to win. But then his extremist liberal ways caught up with him and America saw him for what he was. America will wise up to Obama by the time November rolls around and do the right thing, at least in sufficient numbers to give the win to McCain. |

There are many voices that have yet to be heard. And they will make Obama look like the communist cocksucker that he really is.

obama is as devisive to the dems as mcstain is tot he gop.
either way we take it in the ass. the only difference is how far up the rectum they take us. i am no longer worrying about it as neither is a good choice. i plan to sit back and enjoy the fireworks from both sides. i'll vote for mccain only becuase i can't stomach obama. hopefully the polling places will have pepto bismal to hand out to voters this year. |

Where as the usual dirt digging would come in handy with your regular ole' Presidential candidate. I think you will find that Obama is like teflon. Everything the GOP tries to pin on him with be brushed off as racist or ignorant. Not to mention that McCain has already stated that he will not run a negative campaign.
The Rev. Wright ordeal was only big to those already anti-Obama. |
Unforunatley Obama is the Big Brown of this race. |
Watching the media trip over themselves to masturbate to him this morning is rather disturbing me as well.
Obama still has 5 months to show the rest of America what a liberal gun-grabbing commie POS he really is.
Hey now, don't say that. Bushmaster and Magpul will come through. /me crosses fingers |
It's not over until it's over. I, for one, am not giving up hope until all hope is gone.
Yeh, gearing up for that shit sammich in November. Regardless of who's serving it, the filling will be pretty much the same.
She wants the Dem Presidential nomination in 2012 after Obama loses this fall. |
It does not matter what they dig up on him. People are treating him like he is a god and the next miracle maker. They are blinded and see no wrong in him.
Fret not! If McCain wins, we'll still have hope, and if Obama wins, you'll have more hope than you can handle. Or was that change? |
You said "hope"... you must be a oblama fan My Hope: Slaughter (figurative) of the nations liberals and return of conservative values Change I can believe in: Exjection of the majority of Democrats from Federal and State (AL) government. See, I'm for Hope and Change as well. I'd just rather have the Right kinds instead of ... nevermind. I'm too tired to get up on the soapbox. |

This is the chance for every white male in America who has been overlooked for a job, promotion, or scholarship because a less qualified minority or woman applied to take action.
McCain may not be my ideal candidate, but he is the better choice and has been ignored for months simply because he doesn't have dark skin or a vagina. |
Your fate really pins on Hillary. If she goes out in a huff, you have a decent chance - provided you swallow your pride and vote for the "liberal" McCain.
If she gets behind Ol' Barack, you guys are unimaginably screwed. |
bingo |
That doesn't matter to the majority of America. |
+1 Hillary for VP and its over. I think Barrack is smart enough to know he CANT win without Hillary. And he will win in a landslide if she is VP. Also, We have been getting screwed for a while now., by demos and repubs. I kind of hope they do win as an excuse to buy more guns. |

I'm scared if Obama he picks Hitlery as his running mate and they're elected. What if the famous Clinton d*ath machine swings into operation and Obama is gone? Then Hitlery is el presidente by default. Oh, for Fred Thompson!
Agreed, regardless of how much people bitch - most Americans look at politicians like Obama as their "Salvation." Me, I want politicians to leave me the fuck alone - we don't need any more laws, any more regulation, guidance and so called "leadership" Every - last - one of them - USELESS. I don't need a bunch of crooks, hacks and empty suits to enlighten me as to whats best for ME. This election, whichever a-hole spends the most and promises the most to the rabble of sheep we have as fellow Americans will win. And fellas....that line in the sand, they're WAY PAST IT. |
That my friends is NOT change we can believe in. |
McCain will beat Obama, I have no doubts about that.
I'm more concerned about the direction of the republican party over the next 4 years. |
Obama: You better Hope because I'm about to Change you from the backside... here it comes. McCain: Y'all nominated that empty hope and change weasel, open yer piehole cause here it comes. I reckon takin it in the mouth is not as bad as the pooper... at least you see it coming. |

If Obama is elected and a few more dems get into congress, I'm betting we'll see a gun control bill that follows the gun control bill introduced by Obama's hero Ted Kennedy. Here is Ted's bill as described by Ted.
“First, the registration of every civilian-owned gun in this country. Second, it will require all gun owners to pass stringent qualifying procedures to legally possess a gun and, third, it bans the domestic output of all hand-held firearms that are not designed for sporting purposes.” |
Can we get a fucking tacked doom and gloom thread so all the chicken littles can wallow in their defeatism together?
Most people do not even understand or comprehend the effects of government on their daily lives, and they don't care as long as their routine is not interupted. Those of us that are sensitive though to the political climate forsee the dangers that are being faced with a progressively larger federal government, that legislates itself more and more into our daily lives. The sky may not fall in my lifetime, or those of my children, but my grandchildren may have to deal with the political mistakes this era is trying to weave. |
My parents are the same as your mom. They said they will vote for McCain if Obama get the nod. |
That sounds like Hillary. |
Obama got a lot of new people out to vote in the primaries, but a huge portion of the traditional democratic base will not vote for him if he was the last candidate left on earth.
Hard to talk about senate and house positions, but Obama will never sit behind the desk in the White House - err, if he would, could we still call it the White House, or would that be a racist comment. |
