Alot of people say Im mean to kids, but at the same time, no kid will ever disrespect me like that kid did. They know whos the kid and who is the adult. My parents brought me up that way, I thought it was mean then, but I respect the hell out of them now for doing it. Especially after seeing little shits like that? His mother needs her ass beat...I watched that particular show and this didn't just start on the show..He didn't just start acting like that..He was that way as a little kid. She should have whipped that ass when he was like 3 or 4 and then she wouldn't be having these problems now.
When he reached his hand out and slapped me they would have had to go to commercial. I would still be whippin his ass. What is wrong with parents today. That little boy is only doing what he is allowed to do.. Ok I am still mad and that show was like month ago... |

It is an act, you can see the kid looking at the producers behind and to the left of his mother. They are encouraging it. Watch very carefully, the kid gets very hyper, then runs out of steam or words, looks behind his mother and then restarts his tirade.
ETA: Look at 0:57 ; 1:26 ; 1:33 ; Total crocodile tears too, it is amazing how he starts and stops "cry-talking" |

I think you're under estimating how brilliantly manipulative kids become when shitty parents are involved. He might have been playing to the producers, but the fact that he realized what to do (and not only get away with it but get results) indicates that he's very practiced at the behaviors. |

I am sure the kid is a shit and the mother is a DUMBshit, but I think anything related to Doktor Phil Ma Crotch at this point is hammed up and made worse then it actually is. He never offers real fixes or tells people what they need to hear, it is instead about drama and ratings. I am sure the 95% of the viewership of Doktor Phil is women and if he actually starts telling these stupid bitches on his show that they ARE stupid bitches... he will lose his job. |

That is all learned behavior. If it is a single parent household he learned it from her. She has the permissive parenting down to a tee. She just needs to work on her authoritarian parenting. Tubby needs to be beat. At this point he is past any counseling and I would want to move past "talking about your feelings" to "I'll never do that again!" I don't support child abuse, but I sure do understand it. |
