I seriously hope somebody publically questions Glendenning on national TV on why he thinks a police dog's life is more valuable than a human being's.  Let's see what kind of BS he comes up with to explain that one away.

I agree guys, ban, ban, ban, ban, ban.  I don't see any justification for banning a device that has a sole purpose of protecting a human life, with no inherent offensive or destructive capability whatsoever.  Maybe if you took it off and whacked somebody over the head with it it might hurt a little, but that's it.  How about we pass a law making it illegal for lawmakers and government officials to have armed body guards or ride in bullet-resistant cars?  How about making the penalty for having an armed guard within 100 feet a Class A felony for a government official?  Sounds good to me.

Oh yeah, I forgot....some lives are more valuable than others.  Stupid me.  Sorry.

I've decided to preempt the body armor ban, so I've given my body armor to my dogs.

We all know that Maryland considers a dog's life more important than a taxpayers, since the police dogs get body armor.

This is a sad day in Amerika....but with the liberals scurrying for new things to legislate, it does NOT surprise me a bit.....

The socialists want body armor, they now want police dogs to have body armor, EVEN SOME HIGH PROFILE CRIMINALS GET BODY ARMOR WHEN THEY GET TRANSPORTED, but at the same time these elitists want to ban body armor for "civilians"???  Doesn't that tell you where the socialists place regular citizens in the food chain?
