The woman who lives across my backyard and whom I've been secretly lusting after since April '00 is a full blown carpet muncher.

My "dream woman" introduced me to her significant other about 30 minutes ago.  Talk about deflating all my fantasies.  Shit!

She moved in about Jan. of '00 but I didn't notice her until April of that year when my wife took a weeks vacation and went to Idaho to visit friends.  Our 2nd floor master bdrm. faces her backyard and her master bath (single story home).

I was getting ready for work about 5 am that April morning and since it was still dark outside, I had a full view into her well lit bathroom.  This was the first time I had noticed this.  Sure enough she hops out of the shower and starts towelling off.

SHA-WIIING!!!  Wood, big time.  I knew it was wrong, but there was no way I could pry myself away from the window.  That was, however, the last time I did that.

I've said hello to her occasionally but never really wanted to strike up a big conversation because Mrs. Desert Rider would definitely not be too happy about that.  She knows what my "type" is, and Pam is definitely my "type".  I have a great wife and marriage anyway, and would never want to jeapordize that.

I saw her walking her dog today with a friend and asked if she wanted to see our puppies, hoping she would want one.  Actually, I just wanted an excuse to look down her T-top(?) and watch her melons jiggle.

She agrees to come into my backyard and introduces me to her "partner".  I almost cried.

She has a daughter, but I've never seen a guy around.  I guess I just never thought about it.

Oh, incidentally, she got smart about May or June of '00 and put blinds up in that big bathroom window.  I wouldn't be surprised if my wife walked over and suggested it.

This brings up an interesting point--

Is it cheating if you:

A. Watch?
B. Lust after her in your heart since she doesn't want men?
C. Hope to invite Her and her S.O. over for a little menage a' four?

Not that I would ever think of anything like that, just asking!! [:0]

Touchy, isn't she?  It's been my experience that hardcore anti-Lesbos usually munched a few carpets themselves in their youth and then turned militant anti as a denial mechanism.

DesertRider - don't give up hope! Look at Anne Heche - she flip-flops back and forth between girls and boys.  And she'll probably do it again!

When I was in college my girlfriend's tall, blonde, leggy friend who I always lusted after thought it might be interesting to see what another girl or a threesome would be like, so she asked my girlfriend if we'd like to give it a try.  "Repulsive" or "disgusting?"  Sorry Hannah, those aren't the words I'd use to describe it.  But it was a whole lot of fun!!!  Several times!!!  [:D]

For your information, the original Hanna was my second cousin.
I too, was a pilot, and at a young age.

Was it in German then?

I saw the website, that's how I picked up on the Third Reich connection.  Just because she was a wonderful aviatrix, doesn't mean she wasn't a Nazi.

Your reference does yield this quote:  "Although her politics were not popular in post war Europe, to say the least, she did not hesitate to break the "glass ceiling" of women's aviation."

Your choice of a screen name obviously indicates a recognition of her accomplishments or and agreement with her political views. Which is it?

Oh, and if I'm a bigot to hate Nazis and all they stand for (dead or alive), then glad to be one!!

This is why I love this place so much....Lesbians to Nazi's...in the same thread...lol.

Hanna was a kick-ass aviator for sure, and a very fervent Nazi.....but so were many others during that time...including some cousins of mine. Hannah was fearless, taking on test piloting some of the most dangerous flying contraptions of the time, including the first helicopter, a cable snapping bomber for the dispatching of balloons, a piloted version of the V-1...tons of other accomplishments. Amazing women to say the least....politics aside.

I'll just blend into the background again...see ya.

What is this reference to her politics that were so unpopular in post-war Europe then?  Spent two days in Berlin with Hitler right before the end, and NOT a racist?  Sounds like she was a great flyer, but also much more... why deny it?

Even though it's obvious, I'll certainly agree that many Germans then, and now, were not evil.  But, I do question what the intended implications of your handle are- care to elucidate?

And just in case anyone is interested, there is this quote from and article on Buchenwald ...

Today, more than 1,000 former inmates stood in a cold wind on the camp's Appelplatz, the same spot where their Nazi guards once forced them to assemble each morning and evening. The iron gate through which prisoners were brought still stands, with its cynical inscription "Jedem das Seine," which means roughly "Everyone Gets What He Deserves."

That's very strange, because I just read an account of the group of American GIs that got to Buchenwald on April 11, 1945, and this is what they saw:

"Bill, Tim, and I started off through the trees, down the hill to the front gate which was only a couple of hundred yards away. The gate was a rectangular hole through the solid face of the building over which was office space and a hallway. High up above the opening for the gate was a heavy wooden beam with words carved into it in German script, Arbeit Macht Frei. In a clumsy way I attempted to translate the inscription to Bill and Tim as, "Work will make you free". The three of us headed through the gate, through the twenty or thirty feet to the other side of the building. We were slightly apprehensive of what we might see. Our antennae were up. We had been teased by bits of information, and we wanted to know more. The lane we were walking on bent to the right as we cleared the building. We had barely made the turn, and there it was. In front of us a good bit, but plainly visible."

From Harry J. Herder, Jr., at: http://remember.org/witness/herder.html

It was my understanding that 'Arbeit Macht Frei' was the usual and customary slogan above all the concentration camp entrance sign.

I'd never even heard the phrase 'Jedem das seine' until I saw it here and asked Hannah if it meant 'To each his own' in German!

But, nevertheless, cut out the accusations of Nazism about our friend and compadre, Hannah_Reitsch, and she is entitled to have her own thoughts about deviant sexual practices!

I mean how do you feel about homosexuals? Whoa, let's not go there!

On a side note, while the Nazis were, well, Nazis about male homosexuality, there was never much of any threat to female homosexuals. For some reason it just never strikes men to be as offended by that, as by male homosexuality.

While I personally am straight, it just so happens that I've met many gay shooters - both men and women.  It all started with a gay coworker years ago who was getting the shit kicked out of him by skinheads and didn't know what he should do.  Others talked about whistles, mace, getting friends to walk you everywhere, etc.  I said that I carry a pistol and if I was attacked I'd just shoot the assholes!!  The lunch room went silent.  After work he came up to me and asked for advice about guns.  So I took him shooting.  And the next week he bought his first gun.

Since then I've given many gays their first experience with guns.  It's really interesting to see these people, who normally are liberal Democrats, get that look on their face while shooting that all of a sudden they don't have to be victimized anymore just because others are intolerant of their personal beliefs.  For me it's just another day at the range teaching the safety rules and giving a few pointers on marksmanship.  Plus I always bring up the fact that their beloved Democrats they always vote for are constantly trying to make it difficult for them to have the tools they need to defend themselves.  I like to ask what they think would happen if Gay Bashers got shot once in a while.

Right now a local indoor range is considering hosting a "Pink Pistols" night -

http://http://www.pinkpistols.org

and if that happens I'll probably bring some guns and let them shoot 'em.  For me there's no greater victory than seeing a formerly far-left voter fill out an NRA application.  Plus, in contrast to many rude, redneck (straight) shooters, the G&Ls are so polite and friendly.

And, yes, Hannah, over the years a few guys have asked me out.  I just tell them thanks, but I'm straight, and it's no big deal.  But I didn't get all bent out of shape over it.  I guess I'm just as bigoted as some other people here.

The following is from this site...

http://www.english.upenn.edu/~afilreis/Holocaust/buchenwald.html

At Buchenwald on Saturday, a special gathering was held to honor the memory of the half-million Gypsies who perished at the hands of the Nazi death machine. About 7,000 Gypsies were among the more than 56,000 Jews, Slavs, German Communists and other resistance fighters, homosexuals, handicapped people and others who died at Buchenwald. The stark granite memorial to the Gypsies that was unveiled here this weekend is the first of its kind at a German concentration camp.

"My blood ran cold when I walked through that gate today," said Heniek Wasserlauf, an Israeli who was brought to Buchenwald after being arrested with other Jews at a village in Poland. "I never wanted to come back to Germany, but when I got this invitation I decided to do it. For me it's a sign that in the end we won. They tried to wipe us out but they failed.

Ummm, I think you may be a bit confused. Race is a social construction of reality. Because of this, race means different things to different cultures. Thinking back to history class, I don't remember the killing of many blacks by Germans in WWII. Now I could be wrong, but I think they did do some stuff to Jews. Because of the Nazi social construction of racial values, jews were their targets, not blacks. In the US, blacks just happen to be the usual target of racism. This causes the public to associate racism with only blacks. Does that mean if hitler lived in a jewish neighborhood, he was not racist?

If you are saying she was not a racist simply because she was in Africa, maybe you missed the whole thingy that occurred in South Africa. Really, I could care less if she was racist, but you can't say she wasn't one simply because she lived in Africa.
