Went out shooting Sun. with some friends and their kids. I brought a couple of AR's along.
We shot steel gongs and rocks @ 100 & 200 yrds. The boys, ages 15 & 12, had a blast! The adults also had fun and wanted to know how much do they cost, and where could they get their own. Every home should have at least one AR, 5 30rnd mags and a case or two of ammo. It's your duty as an American!

This is a pic of my 12 year old(at the time) daughter putting some rounds downrange.  She had a sleepover the night before, and that morning I took them all to the range.  

When this pic was taken they were shooting at an 8x11 piece of paper at 25 meters with 15 rounds each.  The one with the most rounds on the paper would get $10 worth of stuff at the mall.  I eventually ended up dropping $80+ at Claire's !

All the girls had a great time, and talked about it for months afterward.  The most interesting part was with their parents - the most objections came from their FATHERS, who were all active duty servicemen !  [u]ALL[/u] of the mothers thought it was the coolest thing.  Figure that out ....
