I love McDonald's Sweet Tea! I often go to McDonald's just to get it.  I just started trying tea this year.  Is anyone else addicted to their sweet tea?

I don't like tea but I don't think it should be drinin with too much sugar.  What's the point of drinking it if you load it up with sugar?

I never goto McDonald's. Arizona brand Southern Style Sweet Tea is good, but I like the brewed Lipton black tea that I make at home the best (it's fresh and I use purified water). I sweeten my tea with Splenda and I've gotten used to the difference between it and real sugar. I may die of cancer, but DAMNIT I can drink SWEEEEEEEEEEET tea without worrying about the calories. I'm a grown ass man!

I'll chug 2 or 3 with 2 double quarter pounders and some nuggets.

And maybe a diet frozen yogart with extra caramel for dessert.

Yet, we love your chowdah.

My wife is addicted to sweet tea and was getting it from McDonalds until their gay business support thing was revealed. Now she gets Chik-Fil-A tea.

I'll drink it once in a while, but it's not my bag. I got a bad migraine right after drinking some at a K&W cafeteria once and haven't been big on it since.

I would label it a total dissapointment. Im a huge iced tea fan. Lipton, Arizona, Turkey Hill, I love it all.

Sunday morning I had an hour drive to meet a fellow board member for a FTF Rifle sale. McDonalds has been advertising their ass off of their $1 sweet tea deal all over my TV for the last 2 weeks. Having a mild hangover from saturday night, I decided to try it.

I paid the girl at the window, grabbed the cup and the iced coffee that my GF wanted and set it in my console. I pulled away from the window and got onto the interstate where I picked up my drink and instantly knew there was trouble.

The familiar sound of frozen water jingling together against a styrofoam cup was eerily absent. NO FREAKING ICE! BAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

They poured hot tea into a cup of ice, added sugar and called it Iced Tea. Fail, Fail, Fail.

I made it through about 3 sips before I opened up the window and ended the abortion.

Ah, Florida's just a state in the South.  Y'all don't know about real sweet tea.  Here in Atlanta, we know sweet tea.  Sweet tea requires Dixie Crystals sugar.  I had a reputation in college for having the best sweet tea on campus, and I still brew it the same way.  Admitidly, homebrewed is best but if I'm driving and have a hankering for a cup of tea, nobody's will satisfy me but McD's.  I know several southerners who've moved to the Northeast and say that it's the closest they can find.

ETA:  Just finished a heart healthy meal of 2x double cheese burgers and a medium fry with a medium iced coffee to wash it all down.  McD's Iced Coffee F's Starbucks in the A~!

I drink sweet tea by the gallons, but I never drink tea in restaurants.  Restaurant tea is usually bitter from sitting fat too long.

Dont think they have sweet tea over here.
I use to make my own on big ball with earl grey leafs and two liters water and 1-2 deciliter sugar.
What special with ice tea blends?

Wife picked up a large sweet tea from them on Tue night.  I won't eat McD's food, but I have had thier iced coffee and my kids like the nuggets happy meals.

Anyway, it was too sweet for my taste and I had to water it down to drink it.

I like Sonic teas though.  Blackberry with no sugar or regular no sugar.  Occationally I order up a route44 with 1/2 sweet and 1/2 nonsweet and it's not bad.

I used to do that too when I was a kid.  Don't worry, a lot of kids do it just to bounce off of the walls and annoy their parents.
