I know most here hate this genre...but do any here appreciate it? I mostly listen to heavy metal, alternative, hip hop/rap. I'm sure there has to be a few here that appreciate it.

There is a difference between Hip Hop and Rap. I love Hip Hop and HATE Rap.
I can't stand the gangsta crap that has been popular for years now. It is complete and utter TRASH. All of these fake ass wannabes spend their money on a beat, and a shitty chorus with a catchy hook. No fucking skills, no play on words, nothing. This is some real shit out of Chicago Typical Cats - Reinventing the Wheel Lootpack El P Atmosphere Sage Francis Madlib and his alter-ego Quasimoto Brother Ali Aesop Rock One Be Lo DJ Vadim Mr Dibbs Saul Williams Black Star Cage Sole Mad Villian Jaylib MF Doom ...and then some. |

I teach a HipHop dance class. I got into it for the exercise, but I really, truly love the upbeat music. SOME of it really sucks, but I like a lot of it, too.
This is a good one: youtube.com/watch?v=UDAaevTq51I I teach the teen class and at the end of a stressful day ... it's just fun to let go. :) |

One of my all time favorites. Check out the group Felt. It's Slug from Atmosphere and Murrs from Living Legends. If you like Atmosphere, you'll surely like Felt as well. |
