I realize that the vast majority of you still wont admit to what the most embarrassing music you listen to is, even on the internet.

For me, Michael Jackson.

And yes, I've had a few brews.

I listened to ABBA and the Carpenters just yesterday.

Depends on my mood.

I go from Merle Haggard to Metallica depending on how I feel and what I'm doing.

Probably listen to talk radio more than anything else lately

Oh yeah, I love that Rick Astley song too (the Rick Roll one).  I Rick Roll myself all the time just to hear it.  It is in my head right now.  I sing it to my 5-week-old baby girl when she cries, and she seems to like it too - calms her right down.

How dare you list Haggard in an embarrassment thread! Haggard is one of the greatest musicians to ever live.

If I was black, I'd find that bitch and punch her in the face for perpetuating the negative stereotype my culture had fought so hard to be rid of.

But it is funny as hell.

I was driving to a shooting match in another state with a buddy of mine who was working at the time as a professional guitar player.
I handed him a case of CDs and told him to pick something to listen to.
He commented: "You have to have a lot of self confidence to admit that you have the CDs to The Sound of Music and South Pacific".

What can I say ? I like Rogers and Hammerstein

FWIW: I am NOT embarrassed to admit I like muscials however a lot of people have commented on it over the years.

+1 on '80s New Wave & Pop.

Depeche Mode, Blondie, The Psychodelic Furs, Flock Of Seagulls, Adam & The Ants, Missing Persons, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Devo, Dead Or Alive..........
I'll freely admit to liking it.  Dead or Alive & Depeche Mode cds reside openly in the cd case between Danzig & Duran Duran, alongside The Ramones, Black Sabbath, Dwight Yoakum, Johnny Cash, Tori Amos, Type O Negative, Beethoven, & Wagner.
