Whats the deal? nothing neat ever happens!
me neither, but i've only been maybe twice in the past year.. i HATE that place with a passion.
If nothing weird happens to you at WalMart.....
Then you must be one of them. |
Maybe because you don't have a giant invisible blinking neon sign above you that says "I'M A COMPLETE AND UTTER FUCKTARD---PLEEZE FUCK WITH ME!"
(That's the only logical reason I can come up with after reading about the countless "adventures" that members post here about their dealings/interactions with the general public...) |
You're just dieing to see the look in their face when they ask you to empty your pockets, and you pull out a few mags, a knife, some fox labs and a BUG aren't you? |
You're probably a reasonable person, that's why.
Most of our problems in life are self-induced. |
Yep. |
the first thought that came to me when seeing this thread was....
cause walmart sucks |
My post counts low no one bothers me, and I carry all the time and no one cares. I have never heard of so much BullS#$@ in my life. |
You must not have a big enough chip on your shoulder. You need to go in, all hulked up, and start a stare down willy at the geriatric reciept checker at the exit. Dont let the blue hair and the wrinkled skin fool you, she may be pushing 70 but she is a hard ass.

Hey it happened to me once, and I was minding my own business. |
I don't go in to walmart too pedestrian and I'd be afraid one of the shoppers would touch me
perhaps we don't spend enough time at Wal-Mart for crazy shit to happen. For some it is a social event .
I had an incident in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart. Does that count?
Next time try open carry and see what happens. |

Weird stuff has happened to me at Wally world, even gun related stuff. I just don't run to Arfcom to post about it.

Uhhmm how should we phrase this........................ |

I had to go back six times to get my new glasses perscription to fit properly. Very nice people and they now know me by name and wave and speak when I walk in China Mart

I work at Wally World for awhile. There was one time a customer slapped the cashier (hard) across the face. Why? The cashier was new and wasn't scanning the groceries fast enough.
Another time, while working there, I helped security contain a shoplifter. He had just been released from jail 3 days before. What was he in for? Shoplifting at the same store! Another time, I was shopping, approaching the cashiers I saw some dude that obviously pissed and arguing with his wife. He then proceeds to destroy a stand holding small bags of potato chips. Why? His wife forgot thier money at home. Another time, I was shopping, and some dude punched some girl in the face, then punched her friend, while walking away put his hand on a 75 yr old lady's face and shoved, then slapped another woman who had the deer in the head light look. I chased him down from behind another guy grabbed him from the front and he didn't want to fight all of a sudden. Another time, I was shopping...... I just know if I keep going there I'll be presented with an opportunity to shoot someone. (legit, of course) |
Nothing happens to me where ever I go. Maybe it's cause I assume a low profile. Need to make some changes.......

You have over 500 posts. |

You've got 2 strikes and a ball. Strike one, you're a team member. Strike 2, you joined 2 years ago Ball 1, you haven't hit the 1k post count yet. You're only allowed to have a Wal Mart draw down story if you've joined in the last 30 days, aren't a Team Member, and have a post count under 20. Learn the rules, man... |

So, how many posts do I need before I can go to WalMart? I don't really want to go there, but I know bad stuff always happens to us low posters.
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it |

I am leaving to go to walmart right now for some self tapping screws. Should I put on some body armor? If I'm not back in one hour.... talk amongst yourselves.
Your imagination sucks. |
Talk amongst yourselves.....for some reason that really cracked me up! |
Everyone needs a little unwarranted confrontation every now and again
I'm guessing nothing cool happens to you at all. You are probably one of the quiet people.
Some people tend to draw attention. |
If you went to the Walmart in Waterford, CT right now, there's a big freon leak that has the place evacuated.

I broke up with a g/f in a walmart, because she was loony as a mother fucker
ETA it was not a date at Walmart. She wanted to pick a couple things up on the way back and then wanted to do her grocery shopping with me on our 2nd date. I purchased a bag of jolly ranchers and took her home. Though I did think of leaving her for a split second. |
my oldest boy puked at the checkout isle. That is the coolest thing to happen to me at walmart.
the checkout lady said it happens all the time. |

hello friends,
Last year I made the decision to trust my life during visits to Wal-Mart to Second Chance body armor. I got the level IIa because it stops the most rounds and the groin plate stops the door nazis from feeling me up. plus I got the Trauma Plate for the front. What scares me is that, although I can fit an extra trauma plate in the front, I cannot fit a second one in back. As of late I have taken to duct-taping a second trauma plate to the area of my back where the heart and vital organs are located. Then I put my vest on. Here is the questions. The ducttape solution, although tactically sound, is hot and painful to remove. I would like to go to the single-plate solution in back. What I am worried about is repeated hits to that area with .308 ammunition. I have a Wal-Mart in a bad part of town and I fear that I would be the target for repeated long-distance shots to my back. Are any of you aware of a thicker plate that could stop, say, .338 Lapua or something like that? Is there a better way to do the second plate? BTW, I am, of course, usually carrying a pair of ceramic plates in my briefcase so that I can shield my head. My SO (we work as a team when necessary) has a similar accessory containing a breakdown NEF single-shot 300 WinMag with an 18″ bbl. The plan is that I shield us with my body and “catch the rounds” while she assembles the NEF. I lay down covering fire with my 23 (Bar-Sto .357 Sig barrel) and she makes the long shots. I will then throw smoke grenades to obscure the area while continuing to lay covering fire. The problem, of course, is when I have to turn my back to run, and then the problem crops up. Thanks! |
