it's worth what you'll pay for it

with stock grips, I'd give him no more than $400.

500 rounds or not, used is used

I was thinking $350 with the grips.

Without the grips, $340.

The cheapest one I can find on any of the gun auction/sales sites is currently at $400, and it's not a late model mountain gun either.

I'd imagine that it's worth $450-$475 at most, but I'd try to get it for under $400.

The stocks?

I'd pay more for the gun without them.

Gun auction sites trend toward higher prices.

Unless the original owner wants to deal with shipping, the hassle of tire-kickers, loading photos, meeting requests for "more pics"...he'll sell face to face.
