A few photos from Barcelona.  Iberian or "Serrano" ham just kicks ass.  The best, and most expensive, version is from pigs who are fed only acorns.  Serrano ham is now being imported into the US, and if you like cured ham without the incredibly salty taste, try it!

This is a suckling pig.  Did I feel bad for eating some?  Not really- I like veal also.

Cured Serrano ham and sausages.

The chocolate is really good, too.

The spanish are very serious about their hams.  They are among the best in the world.  You are in ham heaven my friend.  Enjoy!

Spanish food is ridiculously good.

Portuguese isn't half bad either, I eat roasted suckling pig, grilled sardines and chorico every chance I get in Macau.

Is this a continuous loop?  It isn't ending!  Great song/video though.

I once knew a man who had a 3 legged pig. When I asked, "What happened to the pig", he said, "Well son, when you've got ham that good, you don't want to eat it all at once".

Spanish food is great, but the beef is in serious need of improvement.  Give me an Argentine skirt steak, and I'll be all over that.

Nothing better then some Spanish jamon on top of bread, tomatos and covered in olive oil.  Getting the Jamon Iberian imported into the US is very difficult.  The Spanish barely produce enough for local consumption and could care less about meeting the USDA bs.  Luckly living in Europe, I don't have that problem and my current leg is a Jamon Iberica that comes from Salamaca.  Below website is the only source I know in the U.S. but its not cheap.
