No one from the opposition is within a hundred miles of Kandahar, the Taliban are just bugging out.  Some of the local warlords in the south may be turning against them though, reports are unclear about fighting or not.

Britian is saying it will send troops "within days" from Oman, mostly to ensure the NA keep their promise for a multinational government.  Also to hunt for BinLaden of course, but you dont use reguar infantry to do that now, when there are no longer large, heavily armed groups of opposition, just small bands with small arms hiding in the hills.

No word on when the US troops arrive.

I think Bin Laden is already in another country by now. Maybe Pakistan?
