There is a poll in the Meetings and Events forum for the food that we will eat at the upcoming shoot.

After AROCK contacted TacPro, some of the plans had to be modified. Please be sure to check the meetings and events post about the food/schedule.

Not sure if your post is in jest or not, but...

I did find it unusual that we are not allowed to use a gas grill unless we reserve a range for the day. 20+ people at $25.00 a pop ain't chump change they are going to be making off of the AR15.com get-together.

Seems like letting us use a grill would have been easy enough....

Even though we can't cook there, can't drink there, and probably will not be allowed to even take potshots at livestock, I am certain we can MAKE it a goooooood time.

Looking forward to shooting one of these [50]

of course at least a couple of these [sniper]

Who knows, maybe even a [rocket]

Although I doubt they allow [pyro] without a seperate fuel supply

Will have to follow the range rules and not shoot like this [rail] or this [frag]

And I am pretty sure they won't let us use these [grenade] but you never know

When there was talk of having it in East Texas, I was interested. But I'm not gonna drive from Houston to out near Baird (although I wouldn't mind visiting my grandparent's graves there). It's just too far for a weekend shoot...especially when there's a big show down here AND I just got my SP2...I'm in too much of a hurry to shoot it!

The Lovely Bride sends her regrets. Her father made an unscheduled stop at the infirmary this week so she's in Odessa for a few days. Seeing as he's a Marine Aviator who made Ace flying Corsairs in War2 that's where she should be.

Just go anyway. Forecast for Sunday: 20% rain. Just figure- from DFW to Terrell is 65 miles, it might rain at DFW area, but it might be clear in Tac Pro. Texas is big, guys. Don't worry about the weather, just show up and have fun.[NI]

Jarhead is in, and I'll most likely be bringing Chris from [url]www.pro-tac.net[/url], a fellow Marine and damn good people.

[Edited to say that I will be bringing lordtrader out to the shoot in the Jarhead-mobile.]

I've got a big cooler and a Weber kettle grill, if we want to do that, or I guess I could just bring a frickin sandwich, if that's what we're reduced to...sassafrassafrickinhamandcheese....
