I stopped on my way home lat night, started pumping, looked at the display, and the gallons and purchase price mirrored aech other.  I though that was odd, looked at the price per gallon, and it was 99.9 cents /gallon.  Blew my mind.

Just dropped to 99.9 this morning in NW Ohio.
Thank God too - the gas & propane costs nearly
broke me last winter.  We had a new foundation
put under the house at the same time.

Brrrrr......$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!

Lowest price I remember: 79 cents/Gallon in during the Bush, Sr. Administration.

Price During Klinton's Adminstration: 1.29 - $1.59 Gallon

Highest price I remember: 2.75 Gallon in Various Parts Of The Country Near The End Of Klinton's Adminstration.

Now, that said I have always disagreed with that crap about Clinton being great for the economy. Yes, there was a surge in Jobs, etc. But, as an IT Professional I can tell you Bill CLinton had nothing to do with it. Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, Higher-Speed Internet Access (ISDN), & Lack Of An Internet Tax (Which Klinton Repeatedly Tried To Get.) Under Klinton Gas Prices nearly doubled. Since Bush got in office they have been cut by 50%. Why, becuase we no longer buy any oil from Iraq and other enemy countries who were gouging our asses.

$1.29 around here. It's been a long time since I've seen it under a dollar.

When I started driving back in 66, the average price was about 32 cents. I remember paying as little as 28 cents.

I can remember several years later, when my dad said the industry wouldn't be satisfied until the price hit a dollar a gallon.

I laughed and said "not in my lifetime". Boy, was I stupid![stick]
