No, we are not at war. In spite of all the hot air, our government has not made a formal declaration of war against anyone...something only Congress can do. All the growling and woofing aside, we are not really at war.
Doing it this way enables the government to weasel out of all manner of things, as they did in Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, et al. Just "police actions", that's all. |

I believe the guy has already left, and was interviewed over there.
And no, you can't just knock off anybody you like. You could make a citizen's arrest and hand him over to the proper authorities to be tried for treason. |
