I saw a report yesterday that E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is going to be rereleased for the 20th anniversary.  One of the changes he made was to digitally remove ALL of the guns from the film.  They will have walkie talkies or radios instead.

On the talking heads show, P.I., I once heard Chuck Heston say that Spielberg had an extensive shotgun collection. Must have been a false rumor.

I had heard that he was a bigtime C3 collector.  

After reading this, I'm assuming that Spielberg isn't a MG nut afterall...

I saw the preview in the movies yesterday, what a crock. It was well done, they looked like they were holding walkie talkies, but I remembered that exact scene from another post. Total BS!
