Hillary probably has the better odds but McCain will give a better showing than Schmuckabee for sure.

My thought too, but I would by far prefer McCain to Hitlery, Obama, or any of the other Dims.

Almost:
McCain almost switched over to the Democratic party a while back:

It was all over the news when the senate was split 50 R  / 50 D, McCain was considering switching to the Dems.
