I don't like snow either. But I did something about it, now I'm going to the range.

Snow is nice to look out the window at.  But the moment you have to drive off to work in it, or try to hike through it, it becomes the most piss-aggravating thing to ever contend with.

While I hate the heat and humidity of the summer months, a deep covering of snow absolutely sickens me!

Lake Effect in full gear like a snow blower off Lake Ontario. The snow band hung over Fulton for about 4 1/2 hours last night and dumped about 18" and it swung back over us again and is in the process of dumping another good dose. Probably going to get another foot and a half.

All the snow you see in the pics accumulated over the past 24 hours. This is not the most impressive amount in a 24 hour period but it is a pretty good shot of Lake Effect.
My Jeep, thank God I got a 4WD.

I drove back to Great Falls from Helena last night in the middle of a damn blizzard.  I had to downshift to get through the drifts in the passing lane.

We got 2-3 inches outside Atlanta on Saturday.  Most of it melted by 5-6 PM.  First time my 2 1/2 year old got to play in it.  Only the 2nd time my 5 1/2 year old got to play in it.  Good time had by all.  Almost couldn't get into my car this morning 3 or 4 doors frozen shut.

No snow here at the place, but if I step outside I can see snow above 8,000 feet up in the Rockies, 20 miles away.  Cold though.  7 above.  North Central New Mexico.

All we have is rain

Yeah, snow is aggravating ... rain is depressing--which is why I'm so damn reluctant to head off to the Pacific Northwest.  So maybe I'll pick Colorado, after all.
