OK, I am going to try to tell you what I need to without revealing any sensitive information or information I shouldn't.
At work, I have been requested by a member of the Emergency Response Team and my Sergeant to give any and all suggestions to improve our training and to assist everybody in responding to threats better. We already have CPR and First Aid Training. I may be forgetting some stuff we have, so if you suggest it and we already have it, I will say so, and ask if there should be more. Basically, what I am looking for is to put as many levels of response to emergencies, as possible.
1) Training Security Officers in responding to a high level of sudden personal danger, such as getting confronted by a gun. The wisdom has been "Clear the area and call the police." Everybody is getting the idea that isn't enough.
2) Adoption of a code system for the radio net, like a 10-code. Everybody gets a callsign or number.
3) Coordination of procedures with the local police, EMS and FD.
Anything else?
