"... against Israel is legitimate, because is against occupation."
This astonishing statement was made by President Bashar during his meeting with Tony Blair in Damascus.

Be very careful, people:

1) Hezbollah are protected by Syria. 3 of the men that hijacked the airplanes for the WTC and Pentagon attack were from Hezbollah.

2) Are the racists american association that are sending anthrax all over USA "legitimate" because thei felt that "Washington govt. is occuping their land"?

Personally I think that, after Afghanistan, USA should ask also to Syria to pay for their protection of the Hezbollah.

(Eric, where are you?)

Eric The Hun at your service, Paolo!

Yes, I saw this insightful statement from the Syrian fellow, but it's just the same sort of talk that these people having been making for years. We just haven't been listening very well!

The only difference might be that he said it in front of Mr. Blair (as if it were a secret anyway)!

Did you see this commentary from Don Feder at worldnetdaily.com:http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25150?

The title of the commentary is 'Fates of America and Israel intertwined'

Here's a particularly good excerpt:

"The Bible was as much America's founding document as the Declaration of Independence or Constitution. The founding fathers' beliefs in liberty, equality before the law and representative government came from Sinai. The Constitution is a covenant reflecting a much older covenant.

"I recently had the privilege of speaking from the floor of the House of Representatives. Facing the speaker's podium is a bas-relief of Moses.

"The relationship hasn't been one-sided. America acted as midwife at the birth of the modern state of Israel. When its first chief rabbi met Harry Truman, he told the president, 'God put you in your mother's womb to give the Jewish people back their land.'

"'I will bless that nation that blesses you and curse the nation that curses you.' That promise is verified by history. Has there ever been a nation as good to the Jews as America? Has any land been more blessed?

"Consider the fate of Germany and Russia, the most anti-Semitic nations of the century past. Who can deny the reality of Divine judgment?

"Regarding the evil of slavery, Thomas Jefferson wrote, 'I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just – that His justice can not sleep forever.'

"And I tremble for our nation when I reflect on what's being done in the name of a war on terrorism. On the day this country deserts Israel, 'God bless America' will become just so many empty words."

And those are my thoughts on the matter, as well, provided, of course, that Israel will continue in its friendship with us!

Now, regarding the source of the Anthrax attacks, is it your opinion or the opinion in Italy and Europe, that these attacks are from American domestic groups? If so, what are the facts that would lead you to this belief?

The coincidence of the Sept 11 attack and the antrax attacks coming at approximately the same time, leads me to believe that there is a connection between the two.

And I believe that connection to be Saddam Hussein! Let me know your thoughts on the issue!

And Furthermore, Eric. Renamed said that he didn't see on the envelopes of the bioterrorists "American Racists Association".

1) It is well known that the country in which the antisemitism and neonazism is rising the most is US. (Simon Wiesenthal)

2)An Italian journalist reported that in recent times there was a meeting of rapresentatives of US neonazist organizations with Islamic Foundamentalism Organizations. Guess to agree on what?

3)The Arian Nation and related "White Supremacy Churches" are something not new, and thi people HATE democracy and all the people regularly elected in Washington.

Maybe they are not related. Maybe they are only taking profit of the situation.
But "legittimating" deliberated civilian killings, like Assad has done with Blair, is DISGUSTING...

I agree that some 'less than savory' Americans may indeed be sending out the anthrax-laced letters, but I have seen no proof of any kind that these pinheads could have possession of military-grade anthrax spores!

It's one thing to obtain anthrax spores, it's another thing to have finely milled, electrostatically neutralized anthrax spores.

We've seen these 'neo-Nazi' attacks in the past, and absolutely nothing would indicate that they have the 'brains' much less the technical equipment to process these agents.

We must be careful about this, because anything that threatens to distract us from 'Job 1', which is stopping the terrorists of Sept 11, is not what we need to be doing!

These folks that you and Mr. Wiesenthal are so worried about, are simply the riff-raff that come with having a free and open country.

Their ideas have been tried already, their Reich did not last a thousand years, it collapsed in less than twelve. It remains the most reviled and despised in the history of mankind.

Only a fool would want to try that a second time!

Really?  I've never seen a major US newspaper publish anti-semitic propaganda like "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion", yet, according to the Simon Wiesenthal center, that's exactly what happened in ITALY.

Paolo, I personally don't believe that it is an "American" group sending out the anthrax. I believe that the FBI has those groups so thoroughly infiltrated that more of their members are FBI agents than not!
But, I do think that it is a group in America, a Moslem group. They are much harder for the FBI to infiltrate due to their ethnic/religious makeup.
Simple cure: kick all Moslem non-citizens out of our country!

What Renamed affirmed has a sense.

Gianfranco Fini is a FORMER right wing man. He is no more the extreme one, and he said a lot against "racial laws" of 1938, so much that some section leader of his party are jews. The right man to address as "neofascists" are the MSI (movement from which Fini comes from) ones leaded by Pino Rauti. If I see one of them around my house I am willing to make a good use of my M1 Garand.
The Mussolini... well, I ask to my self "why did she stop to make pictures half naked in soft core magazines?"... Btw, she is a relative of Sofia Scicolone, better known as Sofia Loren...

About "throwing stones from a house of glass" I remind to the folks here a couple of things:

1) Terror organization are all linked. Don't tell me that White Supremacy Militiamen are a people that take care of Bill of Rights...

2) I am married with a Jewish Israeli woman, and this put me in a singular position: moderate left wing or right wing parties ruling in Italy are not a danger for my family. Communists as well Fascists are. I wouldn't think one moment to quit Italy if one of them would rise to power.

Frankly... don't ou think that maybe this White Supremacy People could be involved in the Anthrax Scare?

And don't you think that the words of Bashar Assad are NOT belonging to someone that deserve to be in the "Anti Terror Coalition?"

Blair arrives in Jerusalem, to meet Sharon, Arafat

By Aluf Benn, Ha'aretz Correspondent and News Agencies

The speaker of the Palestinian parliament, Abu Ala (Ahmed Qureia) has called on British Prime Minister Tony Blair to correct the historic mistake that Britain committed against Palestinians through the Balfour Declaration. Blair is due to meet Thursday with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.

Ala's comment was a reference to a British statement made in 1917 favoring the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.

Blair brings his consensus-building efforts to Israel and the Palestinian leadership on Thursday, hoping to calm a conflict that is unsettling the U.S.-led coalition against terrorism.

Having won little sympathy for the attacks on Afghanistan from Syrian and Saudi leaders on the first stops of his tour of the Middle East, Blair was to meet Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in Jerusalem and Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat in Gaza, Israeli and Palestinian officials said.

Washington and its allies see reviving peacemaking between Israel and the Palestinians as important to shoring up Arab and Muslim support for the pursuit of Osama bin Laden, their prime suspect for September's attacks in the United States.

However Blair has made it clear that there is no connection between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the September 11 terror attacks on the U.S.

The task has become all the more formidable with a surge in bloodshed since Israeli troops advanced into or around major Palestinian cities in the West Bank after Palestinian militants killed an Tourism Ministere Rehavam Ze'evi on October 17.

Blair is expected to demand that Israel withdraws from the Palestinian cities and ease up on restrictions on Palestinian citizens.

He will also reiterate the demand that Arafat crack down on Palestinian violence.

In Syria, President Bashar Assad defended anti-Israel militant groups which Israel accuses of terrorism.

In an initial nod to both sides, Blair told reporters after talks with Saudi leaders in Riyadh on Wednesday that Britain sought "security for Israel, justice and equality of treatment for Palestinians and a Palestinian state".

"Those two fixed points are the basis for proper negotiations," he said. Blair began his tour in Damascus on Wednesday and was to meet Jordan's King Abdullah in Amman on Thursday before heading to Israel and to Gaza."

And Palestinians are portraied as peace-loving people... but which kind of peace?

I agree...
Usama Ibn Laden attacked USA because he felt the "holy" land of Saudi Arabia occupied by infidels. Maybe that's why Bashar Assad is protecting Hezbollah terrorists, since they supplied three people for the terror attack of the Sept. 11th. Is anyone thinking that USA, after Afghanistan, is going to ask Syria to hand over Hezbollah or "face the consequences"?
