Looking to see what you guys are putting on your guns I want to be able to use the same bipod on a couple of guns BUT it will be for the ar most of the time. Thanks [):)]pg

A 9" - 13"
that swivels should be OK
along the #5 adaptor for your AR.
Maybe try a speedy knob
so you can take it off without a screwdriver.

I forgot the model number, I'll post it when I get home. Anyway, it worked great in conjunction with that little Colt 3x20 scope. I still have the bi-pod, but I rarely use it on my AR anymore.

For mounting on multiple rifles, you will want to get a sling swivel stud adapter for the AR handguard.  This will work with the sling swivel studs on other rifles.

Here is a pic of a 9-13 on a free floated AR:

I got this, but I wish I would have gotten a 6-9" model, because most of what I do is benchrest shooting, and I find this one a little tall.

IMHO 9" is about the ideal height for a bipod, so I do not think you would go wrong with the 6-9" or 9-13".  I went with the former, because 6" is useful for the bench, and 13" is too high to be of much use for anything.

Get the kind that swivels.

Mine is just a Tasco World Class Pluss target model, 8x32x50mm, with BC flip caps and an Armalite one piece mount.

I've got the 11-25" model, as I like to do a lot of hillside shooting, and shooting from the sitting position.
