You'll never get secret formula for rocket fuel from me! Seriously, just buy a Estes toy rocket motor! You won't be able to shoot down Air Force One if that's part of your nefarious plans but it would serve your weird purpose. Sherm |

how did you know i wanted to down airforce 1. no but for real were trying to figger it out go to m-16 fullauto form and look at "law rocket". does anyone know for real? |

I'd just use a model rocket, with model rocket engine. rig a battery and swith and use the regular igniters

Why don't you just ask the ATF? Just type them a note with your query and I'm sure they'll be more then helpful with aiding you in your quest for explosives/propellent manufacturing endevor. Then again, you've posted it here so they've probably already read it.
Howzabout a rapidly venting whipped cream NO2 cartridge? Good luck keeping all your fingers. Sherm |

Commercial black powder is way too slow for propelling anything other than a bullet. You really need to make your own black powder if you want it to burn faster. Do you really want all that smoke in your face though? I've done it with Estes rocket motors and got blasted with smoke and sparks. Besides, I wouldn't want anything homemade next to my head anyways and anything you can build would be the same as a toy rocket motor.

You would want a fine MSH of AL powder or MG. Should be 600 Msh. But I am not going to tell you where to get it because you are gonna wind up blowing your hands off. I see this will happen to you If you mess around with this stuff with out knowing what you are doing.

what's up with everyone thinking im going to blow off my fingers or hands? I don't think im that stupid,I worked with explosives every day in the army.and I wouldn't just "load it up" then put in next to my head,fire and hope it works.i would test it out at a distance many times before doing something that stupid.

Dude you really should not play with this stuff. Mixing random explosive compounds and oxidizers is a very exacting science. I would read up on it before you EVEN THINK about doing it. In most cases you can not even buy AL powder and you must make it. In the process of making it you could blow some fingers off easy. You are essentially making a Flash Powder. KNO3(50%),S(30%) and Al(20%)

I said on the first post"What I need is a solid or powered chemical that produces oxygen when burned and wont blow up If you know the chemical please tell me so I can get some.and were to get them." notice I said "wont blow up" I just wanted something that burns fast, and I should have said "does anyone know here I can read up on it first" im not one to just start mixing stuff that I don't know about 100% iv been reading up on it all night and have only found a little info that is any good. with that said I don't want to mix anything I was looking for something premixed and safe that will only burn fast. and not remove any body parts.
