Temps dropped from the 70's and 80's down to the 50's and 60's overnight, here on Long Island.  Beautiful clear skies though.  It's suposed to be like this for a few days, then warm up a bit again.

I was in Rhinelander, Wisconsin on Wed-Fri and it was in the 20s, windy with 4" inches of snow! I didn't get to plug a 223 into a deer with all that wind!

This is the best time of year for Central and Northern California. Three years ago, in mid-December, my wife and I went up to Mendacino for a few days. Stayed by the beach, rode the Skunk Train and all that stuff. Anyway, weather was in the high sixties and clear as a bell. No fog, rain, wind – nothing; just clear and sunny. Two years ago we went to Monterey for 5 days in December. Same deal; sunny, clear and warm. If it weren't for the liberals and freaks, this state would be a little piece of heaven.
