For wooded and grassy areas? I live in Missouri, so lots of woods, but also a bit of grassy areas, and am looking into getting some good camo BDU's. Should I stick with good ol' fashioned US woodland camo, maybe go with the tiger stipe stuff, or check into another countries pattern? If recommending a different pattern, let me know who has it. Thanks in advance.

I've found through my own tests that the good old fashioned OD (Olive Drab) Green works better than Woodland or Tiger Stripe in most mid-west applications. I've video taped friends wearing Woodland, OD, British DPM, Day Desert, Night Desert and Thai Tiger (not the crap US dark stuff). The OD's seemed to be the most universal in creating a non-obtrusive signature. I also found that an OD blouse (upper) with a DPM or Tiger pant works well too.

The best thing to do is buy and try them out yourself. Get a blouse in couple different patterns and try them out yourself by hanging them in your area and stepping back 30 to 100 yards. If you get a winner early on you're not out too much.

In my area I found that the six-color desert pattern does better than three-color pattern but not by very much. The three-color seems a bit too dark for the native rocks and sand here.

I don't know if it works better, but I always liked the Rhodesian Stuff. British stuff seems cool too.

Here´s ours, very similar to Norwegian camo, Swedish one is also similar.
