JOELTON, Tenn. - Police arrested two men overnight who they believe impersonated officers, in order to rob people.

They made the bust around 2:30 a.m. in Joelton.

They spotted a vehicle they believe was involved in at least two robberies.

Investigators say the men posed as officers in their car on the side of the highway.

After a car would pass, they would pursue it and flash their headlights.

Two drivers did pull over and police say the suspects approached the victims with a shotgun and robbed them.

Investigators think they may be involved in other crimes in the area.
