I sighted mine at 50 and 75 yards, depending on what it was.

Bolt actions at 50 yards, M4 w/22LR kit, 75 yards.

According to chuck hawk's rifle trajectory table, a 22lr sighted in at 1.5" high at 45 yards will give you a MPBR of 90 yards (being 1.5" low there).

edit for typo

60 yards.  It seems like I had a good reason for doing that, but I can't remember what it is.

I'm happy at 50. If I hold a little high at 100 I hit what I aim at.

1.25 miles.  Heck the box of ammo says its dangerous at that range!  Seriously though, 35 yards.  Thats the range most of the shots at tree rats are.

Mine is sighted at 25.  That makes it a hair low at 50 for me.  It is then about half to a whole inch high at 30-35 yards.  Then about 8-12 inches low at 100 yards.

33yds = @1/4" high at 25yds./ @1/4-1/2" low at 50yds.

My .22 only has irons but I sight the scope of my .17hmr at 50yds since thats what most shots are at that I take.

One inch High at 50yards.  This puts me a inch or two low at 100.  It's a good balance.

That's pretty close to what I use on my 10/22,and exactly why I use it!
