How about some standardization for one, why so many different types of ammo and weapons. Why not all the same side arms?

make sure you have cool sounding call signs and then give yourself the rank of colonel.
 Seriously though, unless you are related to these 'team members' by blood (brothers, cousins, nephews) or somehow they owe you something (ex military buds) big time, I don't see teams working as dreamed of. there's much more to the creation of teams than outfitting them with weaponry. I'd focus on the team/friendship building part first and foremost and worry about arming them later...much later. Build something useful together - like a house or school or something bigger than a shed. Go camping - family as well as 'guy camping' together. Hunt, fish, play poker together. First get to know them really really well. Only then will you have the cohesion, mindset, and attitude needed for 'tactical teams'. seriously armaments are the after thought. The real tough work is in friendship building and all the other skills. |

why do your characters all have different handguns, and why the random different caliber revolvers? Make sure you roll the d20 when determining your ambush skill score.

What is the mission of your 2 teams?
Assault what? Ambush who? (or is it whom?) Cover what? Flank protection...what flank? Back up, start from square one. Define the problem...an invasion of zombies perhaps. Outline a solution...protect the homestead, haul butt to a safe area, etc. Equip folks to meet the objectives (support solution). |

He lists 8 people, each carries 1 long gun, and 1 sidearm. Can you not carry a rifle and pistol at the same time? If not you need to seriously start working out, I suggest you start with eyelid lifts. After all you would not want to strain yourself. |
