It's a sub 2000 in 9mm and my reaction when I saw it was the same reaction I had when I first saw my P-3AT....that the build quality and craftsmanship looked like shit.

My reaction was also the same when I took it to the range.... damn this thing just plain works! I love the size and lightweight.

Kind of like a poor man's MP-5?

I have a P11 that is my main carry piece because of its concealability.  It runs 100%.  I just had to train my finger for the feel of the DA-only trigger.

A while back there were some P11s that had slide cracking problems.  I boxed mine up and shipped it to KT to be checked out.  Mine wasn't from the batch affected by the cracks, but while it was there they disassembled it, cleaned it, and installed a lighter trigger spring.  KT's customer service rocks.

I love my P3AT!!!!

If I didnt have my 9mm AR or a MAX11, Id consider the KT-sub for giggles!  good guns for the money.  -and a little plastic never hurt nobody!

never fired a 9mm out of a 16" bbl before, am I crazy or is it about as silent as a suppressed AR?

No, they aren't.

Another Sub 2000 owner here, quite happy with them.  I just wish they would come out with a .45 that takes Sig mags.

I'd love to buy a Sub 2000. I have a P11 (my 2nd), and have never been disappointed with it. Yeah, the trigger blows, but I'm used to it. This second one has terrific accuracy out to five yards, and what was it's intended purpose when I bought it.

Anyone want to buy a P40?  It's okay, the trigger sucks balls though.  Comes with I believe four mags and a belt clip.  All mags have an extension.  Like new with box.

I found my new one at a gun show for $280 (G17 mags). The problem is availability, it took me 8 months to find this one. On Gun Broker they almost always go for at least $300.

Thanks,
be buying one after the first of the year.
(In redneck vernacular; I have a whole trailer park full of grandkids which dries up gun money in December.)

I've had 2 Sub2000s ,both were great guns and took abuse like no other, I traded both of them towards an AR that I wanted instead.

...but there's not a better bang for the buck than Kel-Tec products.

I have one in .40 cal with Glock mags and love it for the price.

Plus you can stick it in a backpack or briefcase

I have a P-32.
I had a Sub2000 in .40 Glock, but it got boring so I sold it two months later.

I love my PF9, runs like a champ, and I carry it every day.  I wish I had the extra cash for a sub in 9mm.

I have the Sub2K in Glock Fotey...it is the shazit. Fun as hell. Folds and fits in my soft-side brief case for those urban SHTF days when only a suit and tie will do!

I just wish that the front sight tower was set back fromthe muzzle to make room for threads.  My .40 Subbie would be awesome suppressed.

How much fun are they?

Even my mother-in-law wants one (.40, Glock mags).

Interestingly, since I've been looking for her, they are about 100 bucks more now than they were 3 years ago and there aren't many around.  Is Kel-tec not producing much of them?
