I always liked the one where the Israelites convinced the bad guys of the day to circumcise themselves and become Jewish, and then while all of the baddies were laying back, resting from the snip, the Israelis went in and killed all of them.
I think they got in trouble for that one though. My memory is a little rusty. |

The modern English translation of the Ten Commandments is not directly from God. God was reiterating a prohibition against murder. Was murder ok before God handed down the Ten Commandments? No. It was always forbidden. |
