Well, if there were hijackers on that flight, tough luck for them.  

It reminded me just on 20/20, John stossel made a point that you can fire a company/government contractor, but you can't fire the government; he was refering to federalizing airport security.  The company responsible for letting the man ccw onboard was fired..., maybe stossel has a good point.

Yes, and some NEW $6.00 and hour guards took their place. Or, more likely, the industry standard is to contract with a different company, who comes in and hires the same guards from the old company, and puts the new uniforms on them. It happens all the time...
