So what's wrong with it? It's true.

You've got a bunch of enviro-whackjobs pulling food out of people's mouths in order to play with a wasteful idea called ethanol.

So we should be sending our corn to Africa rather than using it to try and develop cleaner burning fuels and reducing our dependence on foreign oil?

Maybe Rameriz can draw us a picure of dead african babies washing up on the eastern US shore..because they tried to swim here to follow all the corn the evil americans were stealing right from their hands.

Never mind the Billions and Billions and Billions and Billions and Billions and Billions of dollars we send them in cash, food, etc...

Yeah its going to be American ethenol that kills them all.

What an ass.

I think the point of the ethanol cartoon was that it's a really stupid "solution" to the problem.  Just maybe.

No, but increasing it's usage in fuel drives up the price for EVERYONE on the planet, including our cows, taco eating messicans, and those of us who PAY FOR FOOD AID to other nations.

Dumb idea being driven by government mandate.  Ethanol doesn't do any of those things  you suggest anyways.

Well, if you don't "get it", you don't get it.

Ethanol hurts the poor in our country as well.

Absolutely yes.

1. Ethanol is not cleaner burning and does nothing to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
2. We are also driving up our food prices which are an unseen subsidy for ethanol.
3. For what we waste subsidizing ethanol each year we could be building a couple of nuclear power plants that really help. Which would be a real help.

Ethanol is a sham and really about farm subsidies and is bad energy policy.

I think it is more to the point the increased demand for corn not only raises the price of corn but many other foods indirectly also.  And that hurts the poor the most.

Brazil is in the top spot for making ethanol and Lula the commie has this Hunger Zero welfare check program which would be just great if Brazil was not the 7th fattest country on the 3rd planet, I seriously doubt that without a superb energy industry to produce E85 like gov't controlled PetroBras (PB on the exchange) we are not going to some real 3rd world toilet for our energy. BTW I made some money trading PB. I have rented "flex" cars and found that cars run efficiently at about 75 petroleum 25 E85 percent mix, if you use too much E85 the car runs sluggish, it is not a cure all.
