Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooo! [:D][:D]

The new Walther P22 Pistols are finally on the US market!
There are a couple of them on Gunbroker, and a few dealers already have them in stock.
I'm ordering one as soon as I get up the $$$=

Does anyone have one yet, or has anyone fired one?

Think P99 in .22lr with a muzzle weight (or is that a compensator?).

Looks real good for target, rabbits, or introducing the kids to auto-loaders, but that's probably about all.

I can see that I'll be needing one of these to keep my OD Green P-99 in 40sw company, on those long cold wintery nights!  [:D]

AntiUSSA: Watch it, or you might end up with a Baby Walter in something like .32 or .25acp in a few months. [;D]

My local dealer had one two weeks ago.  I checked it out...problems are:
it isn't the same size as a P99, and more importantly (to me) the barrel is one of those sleeve and liner arrangements like on a crosman airgun...the O.D. of the actual barrel is about .25" - way too damn small to thread and mount my AWC suppressor.  I've been looking for a Beretta 87 for years, unsuccessfully, and this looked like the answer to my prayers.

Guess not.

Why does a .22 need a compensator?

Completes the look I guess.

I saw one without the compensator recently. That is the one I will be buying. Hopefully my wife will like it and I can get my USP .40 back....

The comped model is going for a little over $300 at my local shops.  I haven't seen an uncomped P22 yet.

So, what´s so new with these P22s, we´ve had them in stock for about a month and a half. [:)]

Btw, that is not a compensator on the Target model, it extends all the way thru the barrel weight.

Nice gun overall but the grip could have been somewhat bigger.

I paid $299.99 before tax for mine today. It realy is a light pistol and it is a lot smaller then it looks in the pics. I really like the fact that if the round doese not fire all you have to do is pull the trigger again unlike my Ruger and Browning that require you to work the slide. Cant wait to shoot it!

Just called AG in Lowell, MA. Price is about $280ish. They don't have any in yet but they will in a while, next couple of days.

Can't wait, short $$, and cheap to shoot, might buy one for my mom as a gift [:)]

Capacity is 10rnds.

We have one at our shop, I've picked one up. They have a nice handle/grip... but their trigger pull is real hard
