"Firearms were used in 25.6 percent of the total murders, robberies, and aggravated assaults collectively during 2000. Personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc.) were involved in 31.5 percent of these crimes, and knives or cutting instruments were employed in another 15.0 percent. Other dangerous weapons were used in 27.9 percent of the offenses."

We must all join together to make everybody aware just how dangerous hands, fists, feet, etc. really are! We need to get rid of these impliments of war and destruction! We have to ban together for the children and remove these things from everybodies possession!! If it can save just one life, they should be removed!!!

What scares me is that these stats will be used to validate both the "94 Crime Bill" and the "Brady Bill".

I do wonder about the other side of the statistic. How many crimes were PREVENTED by an armed "victim". Anybody know where to find those stats?
