ISLAMABAD, October 22 (Itar-Tass) - Two U.S. helicopters came under fire from Pakistani territory. The "Nation" newspaper reported on Monday that some unidentified men opened automatic fire on Friday evening at two U.S. helicopters, which were in the process of landing on Panjgur airfield in Baluchistan Province. they were airlifting fragments of the U.S. helicopter that crashed a few days ago near the town of Dalbandin.
The Americans had to open fire at the attackers, who hastily got away from the spot of the incident. There are no reports on casualties or on the damage caused to the helicopters.
Tougher security measures were taken in places where Americans servicemen are now deployed -- at the airports of Jakobobad, Pasni and Dalbandin.
