Hey LT! Remember you talking about your causaul Friday's discussion last Sunday and your brief kilt phase even though you're not Scottish.

This is the guy I was telling you about that is Hawaian, but was adopted by my mother's clan, Clan Scott.

He does all the costumes for Epcot Center in FL and actually made the Scot sculpture for the flag staff!

Didn't have time to post anything else earlier, but I had just gotten back from the Scottish Games at Stone Mountian Ga helping my Mom out at the Clan Scott booth. Had a great time.

When I first pulled into the place I was a little worried about having a firearm in the vehicle with recent events, but as I pulled into the parking lot and saw several people walking around with black powder rifles, swords and axes, figured I didn't have anything to worry about.

a2, I know where you're coming from. My Mom has been trying to get me into a kilt for a long time. So far she's been unsuccesful.

A couple of the things I enjoyed about being there were the good looking women walking around...except for some of those in the skirts with facial hair![:D] Then there are the bag pipes...don't know if it's because of their annoying sound or my Scottish heritage, but something about them makes me want to go out and kick some arse!

One of the bad things was that my brother didn't get to compete in the druming competition because he didn't come in with the band and they didn't stop by his hotel room to pick him up this morning even though they knew they were suppose to! Would have been his first time competing in the Class 1 division! He's taken 1st 2nd and 3rd places before in Class 2 and 3 divisions before.

Oh well, just that much more time to practice for next year.

I've even gotten to visit my clan's castle!  Castle Fraser, up in the NE area of Scotland.
