I don't believe you need one in your home but if you have to have a gun in your home.

Keep the gun locked up some where safe and keep the box of bullets locked up on the other side of your home or in your basement.

Thanks for the unsolicited opinion. Most people here will disagree. Don't plan on people flocking to your way of thinking.

IBTL

I predict one warning and one ban, also a lock in 2 days when someone is called a "cockholster."

Yes, because the bullets might wander into the magazine and the magazine might accidentaly fall into the gun and the force might accidentally cock the hammer and switch off the safety!

I just hope whoever actually wrote it sees this.

Nope it's me logged in

This was the consensus by a group of people I work with today at work.

The discussion was guns in the home.

I didn't join in I just sat back and listened to them.

Didn't even want to try .

I work with a bunch of liberals.

What good does an unloaded gun do me?

I prefer to leave my guns loaded and scattered throughout the house.

My only fear is that I surprise a burglar as I'm coming home some day.

He'll be armed to the teeth with my weapons, and I'll only have the one I carry.

Hmm *looks at 2 AR's with mags in the magwells, and spare mags cinched to those, and 2 glocks with loaded mags and a USP with a loaded and chambered mag*

So you are saying I'm wrong........

Ban Him!

That's the sort of thing my parents used to say.  Then a threat became present for a while and the Handgun I bought Dad stays locked and loaded now.

The odds of getting run over by Ted Kennedy are greater than falling on a loaded firearm and discharging it

Ted Kennedy is dangerous only if you are a good looking single girl .  I can't put my bullets in the basement as I don't have one so I will put them in the magazine for my pistol and hide the magazine in the grip.  That ok?

The only reason a liberal would go near a library is if there was a book burning party.

Libraries house far too many facts for liberals to get near them...facts is like Kryptonite to libs.

I keep my guns loaded or unloaded and my rounds where and as I please.

I will and do sleep with a loaded gun.

I keep my pistol and at least two AR-15's loaded.  I am talking mag inserted, round chambered.  Beside the pistol are a handful of loaded mags.  Beside the AR's are mag pouches, each with six 30 round mags, yes, loaded.  My wife keeps her revolver loaded at all times.

An unloaded gun is just an expensive club.

Yes, I have children.  They all have keys to the gun safe.  The door to the safe stays open any time we are in the house.  My kids all have access to guns and know how to use them.

Mess with my daughter and she will shoot your testicles off.
