 Would it cause any problems if I were to shoot them? For over $24.00 per 20 I expected better quality control.

Free ammo?
If this works, anybody with a hammer or a reloading press could seat a few bullets deeper and send pics off to XYZ company and complain. That would be low. Very low.  I'm just sayin...
