god Accept was bad , but hey the singer had short hair a rarity in the 80s

Pure suckage...

Gawd that brings back some ugly, beer drenched memories.

I remember seeing Accept open for Saxon at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium back in '84.

I have a very eclectic taste in music. I was a child of the '80s, and IMO the era produced some of the best music ever. There was the death of disco, the emergence of new wave and punk, the surfacing of metal, and of course the pop scene was long and strong. Here are some of my favorites...

Two very high-powered and iconic voices collaborated on this one, and it still stands the test of time.

My favorite Christmas song of the area, and it's not their only kick-ass song.

A great party song, and the band is still putting out great music.

A timless band singing the greatest song ever written about a car.

A nod to the glam-metal/hair boys. A great song still.

A great band made from members of a couple of other bands. They were gonna do a reunion last year until the lead singer died.

Another great party band that put on an exceptional live show.

The  song that defined the genera of 'New Wave'. One of my all-time favorite songs.

I saw these guys live in 1984. They were AWESOME!!! They're touring right now and I can't go...

I can't say enough about this band or the voice behind it. I was fortunate enough to see them live and it was the best concert I've ever been to.

And because I'm a f*#king metal-head at heart. This is the second best band I've ever seen live.

I'm a huge fan of Rock and Roll. This is a campy song but you can't help but get up and move to it.

Arguably the greatest man to ever strap on a guitar. Gone way too soon.

I'd be remiss if I didn't ad this. And I think my GF from 1986 would have my head if I didn't.

Very obscure, but those of you old enough to remember the launch of MTV will remember this song.

My favorite metal band from the '80s.

Heavy,  HEAVY, headbanging. A great re-make. Some of you may know the bass player.

I'll wrap this up with the greatest band to ever walk the planet...PERIOD!!

OK...and one from their lead guitarist.

WHEW!!! I'm spent...
