Got to talking with some co-workers about the upcoming election.
Along the way, one of the girls in the office says that she cant wait to vote in the election. Its going to be the first one she is going to vote in. Good for her! Then she says that she is voting for Hillary.  I scoff and ask why she is going to throw away a perfectly good vote.... She says and I quote 'Because it would be COOL to have a woman President!'. That got a 'WTF? Cool??!!! You're going to vote for her just because she is a woman?!?' Yup, that's it... she is going to vote not on stance or what they could do for us... but because she is a woman.  I had to walk away at this point. Damn, can I get outta this handbasket? It's starting to get hot here. |

How about her idea to give every baby born after she becomes president a $5000 Gov't bond?? Ummm... here's my questions:
1) Why should I be giving some kid I don't know any money? How 3) What about giving that money to teachers, police officers, and emergency medical service personnel since they obviously make too much money?? (Lots of sarcasm in this one.) h M'kay enough of this for a while... |

 On the flip side I know a lot of women who won't vote for her b/c she is Hillary Clinton. I honestly don't think the gender issue will make that big of a difference.

I have heard the same thing. People vote for what they think is "cool" all the time, why do you think Hollywood even has an effect on the election, because idiots like your co-worker believe what that POS Hilton girl tells them to believe. (bad example but you know what I mean)

Most voters are single-issue voters. What's the difference between voting for someone because she's a woman, or because she's for the death penalty, or for some other reason? There is not now, nor has there ever been, an "ideal" candidate. The mission, friends, is to illuminate the rest of the voting public about the important issues, and get them to shift their priorities to a more important issue.
But there will always be those who will vote for a certain candidate for the wrong reason. |

Ask her what she'd do if her husband (if she's got one) was having an affair w/ another woman? If she says leave his ass, then ask your co-worker why she supports some douchbag that did that to her?? Seems like there's never going to be any good presidents anymore... too many are corupt or have their own agendas. Oh well, guess we'll have to do the best w/ what we've got. |

My GF and I were talking about the elections the other day and she told me she was voting for Hitlery. I proceeded to tell that if I found out she did that I would immediately hit the eject button and move back into my house. She did laugh and say she was messing with me, but I told her I wasn't.

I'm a white, Christian conservative. I am automatically racist and sexist. According to libs anyways. But I'd vote for someone like Condi Rice in a second. That's the proof that I am neither of those things. But libs will vote for her just because she is a woman. They are without substance. I would not vote for Hillary at gun point. |

My wife has traditionally voted Democrat (i.e. before us  ) but she absolutely can't stand Hitlary and I had nothing to do with it . Of course she does have a few brain cells and knows how to think for herself, which is more than I can say for the OP's coworker
