9500 miles, all black, much chrome, many addons.
$8000.

thanks for looking, and tell your friends!

I hope you lose your job to a slope. Or better yet a wetback. Im sick of gook products costing Americans jobs.

if Americans could build a 200mph. reliable bike that could be ridden every day, I'd buy it.
Until then, rice it is.

Hey dipshit,
When Hardley-Ableson makes a sportbike that has 145+ rwhp, stops like a Formula 1 car and handles bettter than a Barcalounger on wheels I'll be the first in line to buy it.
The new V-Rod is a step in the right direction, just the style is not for me. Harley should of built a street version of the VR1000.
I guess that all of the AMERICAN employees of the Kawasaki and Honda motorcycle manufacturing plants in AMERICA are gook and slopes (according to you).
What a lame assed pile of rednecked nazi shit.

USNJoe, I like the V-Rod...actually just got rid of a '97 Valkyrie which hauled ass for a cruiser...but it took Porsche to show the American boys how to build a fast cruiser.
This is the 4th Hayabusa I've owned since Apr.1999, and truthfully I'm all Busa'd out.
I'm gettin' the Gixx1000 when the Busa's gone.

thanks gixxer, i just posted it on there.

Hate to burst your bubble dude but the 'Busa is not the fastest production bike that money can buy and it does not go 200 mph (it is limited by its computer to 183 mph). One needs only to look in the back of the latest Motorcyclist magazine to see the truth.

BTW the fastest is the Suzuki GSX-R1000. I could really care less cause I ride a 2001 LC1500.

ARChoo, i'm sorry to burst yours pal, but the 1999(my year Busa)clocked 196mph STOCK, on a bike with 5 miles on it-yes, hardly broken in.
It also did the qtr. mile in 9.89, the fastest 1/4 mile time recorded on a stock street bike, and the fastest top speed ever recorded on a street bike...
and that was with a STOCK bike.
My bike's got a Hindle pipe(which weighs about 40 lbs. less than the stock dual units), a PC-II(which allows you to re-mapp the computer-which mine has been, a MTH airbox(which allows more air to come in through the ram-air, at higher speeds)an APE manual tensioner(which will let you do 200mph. speeds without worrying about your cam chain tensioner snapping), Muzzy alum. fan(to cool things off a bit nicer), and an array of other goodies which would take me another half hour to list.
For your info, I've done the 9/10ths. of a mile(that's just under a mile)from a stand still, and was clocked by GPS and radar at 198.5 mph.
I've burried the speedo numerous times(which shows 220mph.-but with speed error, more like 201-202mph.)

Finally, I'd like to say, that the 2001 Busa IS INDEED governed, but not the '99-'00 Busas.
And a TRE(timing retard) would bypass that governor and allow the '01 Busa to see those speeds as well. You see, the '01 is governed in 1st. gear-so as not to snap your silly ass and loop over when hammering it, and also in 6th gear-so as not to allow it to go past the "legal" 183 mph...The TRE fools the timing retard into thinking it's in a different gear(which is not retarded-as 1st/6th are)

Hope you learned something.

oh...and just so there's no confusion...
the '01 Gixx1000 is a bad ass machine, it will outhandle, and outperform the Hayabusa up to about 175mph. It will top out somewhere in the low 180mph. range though.
At the 9/10ths. there is ONE gixx1000 that competes and he's seen 180mph. That's it.

On the track(road race)the Gixx1000 would run circles around the Hayabusa.

But it is NOT the faster machine(and neither is the ZX12 for that matter).

Turbo Rick holds the fastest STOCK bike speed record, at 204mph...and that's on a "well tuned" STOCK '99 Hayabusa.

Sorry bro. I hafta go with Motorcyclist magazine which tested a '99 GSX1300R at 6/99 and they show 10.34 @ 140.8. Might wanna check your speedo calibration.

Again, I really don't care.

ok bro, what about Cycle World's run at 196 and 9.89@146 in the quarter...that don't count?

Motorcyclist is also the mag that claimed the '00 Busa and '00 ZX12 were governed, in a Speedvision televised event, and that proved to be false, obviously after both ran over 190+ in Indianapolis a month later.

So again, I'd advise you go with a different mag, for more accurate info.
As for my speedo, it's got a yellow box on it.
Go ask your buddies at Motorcyclist what that is, I'm sure they know.[:o)]
