Thats what ive got now. There was 500 more rounds of 45 to g along with the 9 but i cant keep my finger off the trigger of my new 1911

Well, you're going in the right direction. You're going to be surprised how much you'll stock up once you get going. If you do any recreational range shooting, you'll also be surprised how much ammuniton you're not going to have afterwards.

I built up my stash by doubling the amount of ammo I shot when I replaced it. Shot 100 rounds and bought 200. Then started buying cases of ammo for my milsurps. Then bought more cases when I caught a good deal. My UPS guy hates me now!

Lets see-400 something posts, yeah you know we were going to bust your chops about your pitifull small pile of ammo. (I won't even begin to call it a stash).

Some tips--This is the time of the year to watch for sales and coupons at Dicks or other local gun shops and sporting equipment joints.Even the local mom and pop gunstore will usually give you a break if you order a case of ammo. Some will cut you a deal some won't.
