Never been to a christening before.  Is this an occasion that people bring gifts to?  If so, what would be an appropriate gift?  We've already bought gifts for the baby shower (pre-birth) and post birth (clothes, toys, etc.).

Don't buy ANY Chinese lead toys
Actually I can remember a couple of Uncle's always giving Savings Bonds to kids.
Kinda a cool gift, but not something I would have thought of.
Baby or toddler clothes are always appropriate as a gift.
