I went to see that movie alone when I was in a "monastic" period following my second divorce.

I honestly came out and went looking for a rope to hang myself.

It depressed my depression

IIRC it is based on a "true story"

course nobody actually knows what happened to them

Dunno, but I'd love to shake their hand.  I made my now ex wife watch it the night before we flew to Jamaica to get married

+1 It was based on a true story in Australia (IIRC) where the captain was in a hurry to get home to some party and basically short counted this couple. A piece of wood was found later with a message from the wife explaining that they were left behind.

Thanks all. I blew an hour on google and the closest I got was "I won't spoil the end" grrr.  I won't watch any movie that I can't let the kids watch too.

Did find some interesting news articles about divers left behind.

One guy got left then found by another boat the next day.  When he got back to port he went to the dive shop.  The shop owner who happened to also be the boat captain that left the diver chewed the diver out for returning equipment late.  The diver punched the shop owner right then.  That diver may be an ARFCOMER.

I didn't make you click this thread.  If it hurts you that bad to know the end of a movie that is already on public tv go away.

India Song.

Snooze fest.

Yor: The Hunter From the Future

Horribly DUMB movie.

Totally true. They also found pictures of the shark with a toothbrush in his butt on there.
