Wine Rule of Thumb:

White - Pull it out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving.

Red - Put it into the fridge 30 minutes before serving.

Blush - Throw that Will & Grace bullshit away - it's not even fucking wine!

60 degrees or so fine.

Reds served cool or a bit below room temperature.

Whites served chilled.

Beer is kept on ice.

Hard liquors however you like them.

60-65 degrees works and if you have a decanter put the wine in that for 30 min before dinner.

Agree with above with one minor difference of opinion regarding beer:

.."Beer is kept on ice.."

With the exception of traditional British ales, they are generally served cold rather than near freezing. Pale beers are generally referred to as "lager" in the UK and are served ice cold.

Hard liquor: my favorite is Highland Single Malt whisky, the best way to serve that is with more Single Malt whisky.

I don't like beer much anyways, so meh.

And by that, I mean, as a responsible 19 year old, I have never had any alcohol.
