I have found that it is good for those areas that the forums cover. It should lessen some of the stuff floating on ar15.com. Plus you don't have to worry about your post being pushed to the bottom of page 5 in 10 minutes over there.

Maybe I shouldn't mention it but most of the dumbasses stay over here and don't bother with the others because there is so little traffic.

I think they are a valueable resource and glad they are there.IMO[uzi]

Considering
A. the new sites haven't been up very long..some people haven't realized they are there yet.

B. GoatBoy busted his ass to get them online..give them a chance.

C. lordtrader is going to start offering cooking/photography tips in the handgun forum soon. That will draw a bigger crowd.[:)]

If your "spin the bottle friends" are on your negotiating team...I'm there.[:D]

Take into consideration that


1) They are new
2) They are specific AR/AK/50/Handgun to each      his own forums
3) regarding bandwidth ... take out all the    spam, babe pics, Whats your fav. food etc,    and all the non-relavent questions on the AR    board (mind you Im not complaining or    flaming) and where would you be

Once I have time to start dealing JUST with content, I think you'll see more and more why they exist...

There's so much information to gather and so much interest for those topics that the best way to handle it was to create large scoped sites for them. (50 people didnt have a home anywhere on the net, so although there's less of them, they truly deserved a home.)

I [b]HIGHLY[/b] suggest starting to take advantage of them. Post your AK questions at the AK site, your handgun questions at the handgun site, etc... you'll see more and more people head over there to give them the proper attention.

AR15 just seems to have all the traffic as it's more well known and basically the GD is hell on wheels... (I would guess that 90%+ of traffic is GD!)

Personally, I love to know I can go to these sites to find or ask about info I need... the problem is I need help filling them with info that we all want!!!
