Which would you choose?
M16A2 with several uppers in different configs and calibers. Also, no gay 3 rd. burst trigger.
Browning Buck Mark .22, light handy, accurate cheap to shoot, could easily be used for defense or small game.
Alternate would be a good 12GA |
Infinite supply of ammo?
Glock 20 (You can't really travel armed with a long gun on your person) Assuming I have to scrounge my own ammo? Well, 10/22, with a good 22 pistol a strong consideration. |
I'd choose a baseball bat, so I could beat this topic to death for the 37th time.

I'd have to go with the my preban M4. Just seems to fit me, and would work well for alot of things.
I'd have to stick with my Black Rifle. If I could I'd have a Preban M4.
M2HB .50 Cal. FA.
Will take out everything from Prairie Dogs to Jet Planes. Plus if you buy the short barrel, you can carry concealed!!!!!!!!! |
Despite the fact that I would cry big time to give up my AR10 and 1911 (and Sig, and S&W, and...etc...)
Make mine a Mossberg 500 12 gauge with 18.5 inch barrel. That and a case of #4 and 00 buck, and I would be ready for self defense indoors or hunting outdoors. |

a silenced 22 then i could get all the guns i could ever need
What AR 18 said! FN FNC, 3 round burst and full auto selector. [X] [beer]

North American Arms .22 Short mini revolver!
Good for self defense, hunting, or just plain fun plinking! |
RUGER 10/22 there is just to much .22 ammo out there you could find it anywhere.
A tank. That way I could run over the nearest United Nations encampment and take ALL their cool guns. Because that is the only scenario for me owning just 1 gun.
If I am lost in Alaska, 12 gauge with various loads. Bears make me nervous and they have bad breath. |
I would say a combination M4/12Gauge. with selection of optics, and accessories.

Any one of the following.
Colt Monitor Colt MFG. M-1921/28 commercial Thompson FN FAL 50.63 BREN LMG in 7.62NATO. Meplat- |
Springfield Armory M6, .410/.22 over under in stainless. Perfect for the only one to own.
Only one [>(]
I'd have to say a CAR-15 or M-4. I need something that is effective beyond 100 Yards. An Uzi would be nice for less than 100 Yards or so. AR Series allow multiple uppers (.22LR, .223, 7.62mm, 9mm, .45ACP, .50AE, .50 BMG). |
... one of these

This is a stupid topic. A firearm is a tool. Different jobs require different tools. This is like asking "If you could only buy one size socket to work on your car, what size would you get?"
I dont no if it would be the preban ar15 or the mp5-k ????? oh I cant make up my mind so fuck it I'll take both!!![-!-!-]

View Quote 10mm. It works almost universally on GMs (Oil Pans, Starters, Manifolds, etc.) 5/8" and 3/8" are also common. But, I'd say 10mm would be best. |

Simple reason this topics exists. To figure out what the best "Overall" fire arm would be to get the job done thus causing you to really think. (BTW the only socket you need to work on your car with is the "Gator Grip TM.") |
Guns are dangerous. I'll stick to tossing rose peddles.......
Then again those .50 are cooool [50] |
I like an AR with a 14.5 inch heavy barrel, and a trap-door grip (to hold the 9/16 socket).
I was originally going to say an M4A1. Then I was going to say a remington 870. Then I figured an M4A1 Masterkey would be the best of both worlds, because it is both worlds.
Ooh, and a crapload of SS109 and some 00 buck |

Guess I'll be different, although I agree w/ those who suggest different tools for different jobs, If I can only take and have 1 of the many I own:
