Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Will Cabelas and Bass pro shops ship ammo to NY?

A year ago I tried to order some RWS airgun pellets from cabelas, but couldn't ship it because they said they were not allowed to ship airgun items to NY (because it's not allowed to go to NYC, many places just won't ship to anywhere in NY.) I called them a week ago, and they said they could ship ammo, but no airguns/pellets. Can anyone verify this?

Uh, they can ship live ammo but not BB gun pellets?[rolleyes]

I think you should call and ask again, maybe you'll get another answer. Do you live in the five boros?

That's what they said. I've ordered loaded ammo (and airgun stuff) from other places, but cabelas said they would not ship pellets because they are "airgun related", and i'm in suffolk co.
