Always liked this one.  Would have liked to hear what was going on.  Except it was probably all going on in Afgani or something...

I like the picture of Winston Churchill with the Tommy Gun.  Can't find a decent picture, though.  Imagine a western leader posing in a photo like that today.

The Churchill one reminded me of this Auto-Ordnance poster that was always a favorite - the cowboy mowing down Mexican banditos with his trusty Tommy gun.

Still appropriate today..........

I know a guy whose grandfather was in that Division, the 37th. Also, my ww2 reenacting group is doing a Bougainville event at the beginning of next month--that photo is from Bougainville, featuring the 37th Infantry Division.

Hard to pick a favorite, but this one comes to mind:

SEEKING OUT INSURGENTS — A soldier with Comanche Company 1st Battalion, 23 Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division Stryker Brigade Combat Team looks through his scope of an M-14 sniper rifle in Mosul, Iraq, May 13, 2004. C Company was conducting a search for insurgents. U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson

For post 10,000 -To the baddest asskicker I ever met; Franklin "Doug" Miller (MOH) in his home, the jungle.  As Doug would put it, "waiting to apply a asskicking to Charlie."
